Choose one of the Winter Holidays and tell us about it in a Kidpix creation. Be sure to use some of the words you learned in the video and add details to your picture! Print out two copies--one for Ms. Casassa and one to bring home.
The BrainPOP video followed by a Kidpix creation gives children a concrete way to use the new winter holiday words. Asking them to print one copy for class and one for home is a nice way to share the work. If pupils also record a short explanation of their Kidpix picture, they could remove the speaker background from a class video so the details they added stay visible. Did they choose different holidays or mostly the same one?
