Welcome to Tech Class 1st Graders!

Welcome 1st Graders to your first Tech Class in the Computer Lab. After we go over the basic rules of the Computer Lab, we are going to play some games that will help us use the mouse!

Learning How to Code

Code Studio- New to coding? This is the place to start.

Codelabs-provides an easy and convenient environment to learn a new programming language quickly.Learn to build websites, apps, and games in a fun and effective way with the help of this platform. Doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or an experienced programmer.

HTML Tutorials-learn how to write HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP. If you're just getting started, work through the tutorials in sequences. Each tutorial has a little interactive section where you can test your new knowledge.

Code for Life- contains more than 100 challenges that students can complete through Code for Life's Rapid Router program.

Scratch- Scratch is a coding program designed by MIT. It works the same as Code Studio, but it will be easier if you have done some practice on Code Studio before you use Scratch.
